Lee Romanov Bio

Lee Romanov is the founder of InsuranceHotline.com, the largest online
quoting service for car insurance in Canada, also serving the United
States, and the United Kingdom.
InsuranceHotline.com was recently purchased by one of the largest
media corporations in Canada, Torstar, who owns the Toronto Star
newspaper, 106 Metroland community newspapers, Shop TV and so forth.
Lee is one of Canada's most recognized experts in the field of
insurance with out ever selling an insurance product.
Romanov hosted and produced her own insurance-related television
program on City TV in Toronto, for four years. It was a live call in
show talking about insurance issues, such as tickets, accidents and
the law as it relates to drivers.
She is also a regular columnist for the "Wheels" section of the
Toronto Star newspaper. Romanov has appeared on numerous television
and radio outlets, including CBC, Global TV, CTV, CFRB, CITY TV, and
several cable networks.
She has been quoted in the Toronto Sun, the Globe and Mail, Maclean's
Magazine, the National Post, the Toronto Star, Newsday in New York
City, the Ottawa Citizen, as well as many ethnic and community
newspapers.
Romanov is also the author of a book entitled "Car Carma" about
tickets, driving, insurance and the law, which has been featured by
media in Canada and the USA, including Reader's Digest.
She also launched, and writes the "Romanov Report" which is an
e-newsletter distributed to over 185,000 consumers, every two weeks.
Distribution increases at a rate of 7,000 new consumers per week as a
result of number of the visitors to www.InsuranceHotline.com.
Romanov has also received numerous awards from Canada News Wire for
her press releases being in the "Top Ten" highest read category.
